Back in 1970 was when I began working on TV, I immediately became famous. I was really young; I was only a teenager, a 15 years old girl. In those times celebrities lived a more normal life, being actress was just life any other job. However, obviously photographers asked you for photos and interviewers tried to interview you in a peaceful way, they were really respectful. On those times fans also acted this way, no one violated your intimacy. For me being a celebrity is to have an ability to do something like acting, singing, sports or whatever ability you have, so people have to respect you as any other citizen.
Being famous has many advantages. You make people laugh and have some other good things that make you feel great! People spend amazing times either if they read good gossip, interviews or listening to your song and watching your movies. This is also really interesting because in some way, you are a leader in the world of fashion and you also set tendencies, doing this really makes you feel satisfied for what you do. This helps you to become more famous and to make much more money.
As Yin-Yan says in every good thing, there must be something bad or wrong, this means this job also has many disadvantages. Paparazzi and fans are everywhere you go to, you can’t be alone, they don’t respect your personal life, I mean they violate your privacy. How would you feel in this situation? For me this is a really disrespectful attitude, sometimes you get mad because the show or talk about irrelevant things in your life or worst, they sometimes lie about you or your career. Television can be terrific or just trash. Magazines from time to time have unreal rumours or bad gossip, they exaggerate things. I won’t deny that celebrities also overstate things to make scandals and to appear in all magazine covers.
